About Olenna Bengals

Born from a genuine love of the breed

Welcome to Olenna Bengals, a small registered Bengal breeding program located on acreage in North Brisbane, Queensland.

Our love for Bengals began with everything that makes this breed so unforgettable: their striking wild appearance, beautiful rosetted coats, intelligence, confidence and engaging personalities. It didn’t take long for Bengals to become a very special part of our family, and Olenna Bengals grew from a genuine love and appreciation for the breed.

Our breeding program is intentionally small, allowing us to focus closely on the health, temperament and individual needs of each of our cats and kittens. Our breeding cats have been carefully selected from highly regarded Australian Bengal breeders, with consideration given to health, temperament, pedigree, structure and the qualities we hope to continue within our own lines.

Raised at Home

Part of our family life

We live on acreage with our four young children and hobby farm, and our Bengals are surrounded by the everyday sights, sounds and activity of a busy family home. They enjoy spacious, enriching environments where they can climb, explore, play and simply enjoy being cats.

Our kittens are raised with plenty of handling, interaction and exposure to normal family life, helping them develop into confident, well-socialised companions. From an early age, they experience gentle handling, play and the everyday bustle of a family environment.

  • Handled daily from an early age
  • Raised amongst children and family activity
  • Spacious, enriching environments to climb and explore

Our Bengals

Meet the cats behind Olenna

As part of our breeding program, we have undertaken extensive genetic colour and trait testing on our Bengals. This gives us a detailed understanding of the genetics each cat carries and allows us to plan future pairings thoughtfully, with a clearer picture of the colours and traits that may be produced.

Cassian

Brown Rosetted Bengal

Cassian is our handsome brown rosetted stud, with beautiful contrast and a striking wild Bengal appearance. His genetics give us the potential for snow kittens when paired with a compatible queen, along with other exciting possibilities within future pairings.

Cassian also carries the longhair gene, meaning carefully selected pairings may give us the opportunity to produce beautiful Cashmere Bengals in the future.

Future Litters

Exciting possibilities ahead

While our focus will always remain on health, temperament and overall quality, understanding the genetics behind our cats allows us to explore some exciting possibilities within future Olenna Bengals litters.

Brown

The classic Bengal look: warm, richly coloured coats with bold, high-contrast markings.

Snow

Pale, luminous coats with soft markings. Possible across several of our pairings.

Charcoal

Dramatic darker tones and a distinctive facial mask, made possible through Kaia’s genetics.

Cashmere

The rare longhaired Bengal, a future possibility through Cassian’s longhair gene.

Each of our Bengals brings something unique to the Olenna Bengals program. Above all, every pairing will continue to be guided by health, temperament and the qualities we value most in the Bengal breed.

Join the Waitlist

Begin your journey home

Finding the right homes for our kittens is incredibly important to us. We want every family to feel informed, supported and excited throughout the journey, from joining our waitlist to the day they welcome their kitten home.

How our waiting list works

  1. Joining our waiting list gives you priority access to kittens from upcoming Olenna Bengals litters.
  2. We’ll take note of your preferences, including gender, coat type, colour and markings, and will do our best to find a kitten that suits what you’re looking for. As every litter is different, we can’t guarantee that particular traits will be available each time. Families who are open to a wider range of options may have the opportunity to be matched sooner.
  3. When we have a kitten we feel may be suitable for you, we’ll get in touch by email or phone. You’ll then have 24 hours to confirm whether you’d like to reserve that kitten before we contact the next family on our waiting list.
  4. Kitten prices are determined individually and may vary depending on factors such as coat type, colour, markings and overall quality. Being on our waiting list does not guarantee a particular kitten or lock in a set purchase price.
  5. Above all, the wellbeing of our kittens comes first. Olenna Bengals reserves the right to decline or discontinue a sale if we feel a home is not the right fit for one of our kittens.
